MARCH 2022

In this series we explore what it is to simply be with with Jesus and how to incorporate prayer into your daily life. No matter what your journey with prayer has been in the past or if you’re just trying prayer for the first time, this series has practical advice for creating a rich prayer life.

Week 1 – The Basics

We begin our new series Pray. Jono talks us through the basics of prayer referencing how Jesus taught us to pray with The Lord’s Prayer. This series will help us to be with Jesus.

Week 2 – Authentic Intimacy

We continue our new series Pray. Jesus ask what are you looking for, he desires friendship with us above all and invites us into an intimate space with him, where we can be true and honest with every emotion, desire and pain we feel.

A Guided Practice through the Lord's Prayer

This guided prayer takes you through the Lords Prayer. Jesus desires that we come to Him, to have relationship with Him and I don’t think he ever intended prayer to be difficult. Jesus gives us a way to pray that firstly honours Him, but also allows us to share our needs and desires with Him.

We hope it gives you a format or a guide to help you in your everyday prayer life. This is a great place to start if you need to refresh your prayer life or maybe you’ve never prayed before! You can do this prayer in a few minutes, or over hours and through out the day.

Enjoy being with Jesus. It’s one of the greatest gifts he has for us!

(We recommend you grab a journal or some spare paper and get yourself into a quiet space where you can focus your attention on Jesus)

The Lord's Prayer

“This, then, is how you should pray:

 ‘Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ’”
