When looking for a church the style of preaching is often one of the key factors to finding a community that feels like home. It can be hard to get a sense of it without spending hours in the podcast stream. Here is how we would try and describe ourselves as honestly as possible to save you the time.
Overall:
We have some very talented communicators but we would not be the slickest presentation in town.
Preaching focus:
Most of the calendar year would be spent in the New Testament examining the life, death and resurrection of Jesus; and the subsequent birth of the Church.
Style:
In recent times we have followed a loose expository style. A majority of the year will be working through a book of the bible but at times it will be broken with a topical week or series. There are also times we use other formats such as interviews and Q&R.
