At Tailrace Youth we’re all about creating a fun and safe environment where youth can come and hang out with their friends, learn valuable life lessons and eat lot’s of pizza!
We aim to open up a conversation about Jesus and what he has to teach us. We like to sum up his teachings in 4 words;
Love God, Love Others.

7:30 – Small Groups
7:40 – Free Play
8:00 – Pick Up Time
Join us Friday Nights during school term from 6-8pm.
*no youth during school holidays or on long weekends.
Location: Downstairs Kid’s Paradise (access from bottom carpark)
1 Waterfront Drive, Riverside.
Led by Taliah Schmidtke, our team is made up of a bunch of incredible young volunteers. Many of them attended youth group themselves and are all passionate about creating a place where all youth can feel like they belong. We love their big hearts!
All our volunteers have their working with vulnerable people cards.
Youth Camp is the ultimate summer experience that spreads over 3 days and 2 nights.
We love investing in young people, no matter your background or story. Our mission is to send each camper home with a stronger sense of self, newfound confidence, and the readiness to embrace the year ahead.
Dates: January 6th-8th 2026
Location: Camp Banksia, Port Sorell
Leaving Tuesday at 10:00am. Returning Thursday at 4:00pm
Pick up and drop off from Tailrace Centre Downstairs Carpark.
Camp cost: $50!
For young people in grades 6-12.
